ALASKA WILDLIFE |

These two bald eagles were injured and being cared for in captivity. |

These eagles were in a tree beside a creek awaiting the salmon run to begin.
|

You never knew when or where a bald eagle would appear. This flew by the ship as we were coming into port and landed on top of a dock where they were unloading a commercial fishing boat. (See photo to the right.) |
|

This eagle was sitting on a small iceberg near a glacier. |

This photo was too much to resist.
|

We heard that the best time to see whales would be about 5 am as we enterred Glacier Bay National Park. This picture is fog and limited visibility that day. |

In spite of the poor visibility, we did see these orca whales. Rather, we saw their dorsal fins. |

We took this picture out the window
of the dining room as we were
having dinner one evening. |

This was the only moose we saw.
